Black Prince Holidays

Jannock (formerly Powys) was commissioned, fitted and operated by Black Prince Holidays. She was based at Festival marina, Stoke on Trent when we purchased her from the fleet in October 2000. If you ever hired Powys, we'd love to hear from you.

J. L. Pinder & Sons

Jannock was fabricated in 1996 by J L Pinder & Sons at their Stoke Prior Yard. She was also blacked by them in 2002 at their Tardebigge drydock.

Kubota

A Kubota 1703 diesel engine is fitted. It is keel cooled but also provides hot water via the calorifier.

Alde

We have an Alde Gas Boiler fitted in the bathroom that provides heating via radiators and hot water via a twin coil calorifier.

We have joined the Cutweb Internet Boating Club. Visit the home page for info.

Baddie the Pirate

Jannock has some LED lighting supplied by Sarah-May a.k.a. Baddie the Pirate who lives on her narrowboat on the Leeds and Liverpool canal.

TNC & Earnest

Visit Neil's TNC site. Justifiably nominated as Waterways World's site of the month in February 2002.

Non Emergency police Numbers

Why is it that you can never find the number for the local Police force when you need it? Well, I've visited the website for every Police force in the country and gathered all of their non emergency HQ telephone numbers.

Nimisis Software

Nimisis sell a nice, easy to use Time Lapse software which I will use to try and log some of our journeys.
